Are there more 5 star Home County Hotels than are listed here?

Yes, absolutely, please contact us for more options.

Is exclusive use an expensive option for corporate groups?

Not necessarily so, it varies from hotel to hotel and it can be very cost effective. Three things to bear in mind

  • exclusive use will usually cover a 24hour period so if your event starts at 12midday on day one and ends at 5pm on day two, you may need to negotiate an extension to include midday to 5pm, day two.
  • exclusive use will give you use of the hotel’s bars and restaurants so these will become private dining options for your group that may not naturally be available without exclusive use.
  • if the venue has a Spa or Leisure facilities you will need to check if these are included in the exclusive use fee. When a hotel has private spa membership they may not include exclusive use of those facilities within the fee.

Is the Vineyard at Stockcross being refurbished?

Yes, and its refurbishment is due to be completed by July 2026. .

What if I have multiple events but don’t want to use the same venue for each?

One really good venue finding hack is to use the same hotel chain if you can and negotiate based on multiple events being held at different hotels within the same chain.

Examples would be:

Alexander Hotels who have Great Fosters, Alexander House, Barnett Hill, etc.

Exclusive Hotels who have a larger number of properties to include Pennyhill Park, Royal Berkshire, South Lodge, Fanhams Hall, etc.

Signet Hotels who have the Mitre, The Retreat Elcot Park, the Alfriston all in the South and the Barnsdale in Rutland.
